On tap, Csakajosor, Budapest.
Poured cloudy deep amber with a superb foamy tan head. Aroma of rosehip, caramel and some cocoa, pines and resin, herbs, honey. Smooth mouthfeel, fruity character with berries and juniper, rosehip, bittery herbal finish.

bomber. not sure what this is doing in the ipa category? seems like it would be more of a strong ale? anyway, really solid beer. nice bitterness and malty combination.

Tap at Ørsted Bar: Clear orange red beer with a frothy, quickly diminishing white head. Aroma is caramel-malts, toasted, nutty, hops, pine, herbal, citrussy. Taste is medium-sweet, heavy bitter, but well balanced. Average carbonation, medium body, dry finish. Likeable.

Picked up on the malt flavor immediately. Enjoy the slight spicy flavors and really like that part if the sale goes to the Fisherman’s fund. Love watching deadliest catch. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Brown in color with a good sized off-white head. Aroma is of perfume, floral hops, malt and caramel. Taste is of citrus, caramel, herbs, light grass and tea leaves.

Overwhelmingly sweet malty caramel aroma not as hop forward as I would anticipate. Touches of spice/nutmeg, chocolate, citrus, and tangerine. Ruddy brown/red with a toasted light tan colored rocky head. Has a spicy almost rye like quality up front in flavor. Good bit of sweet maltiness. Very well bittered with touches of pine, citrus, and a good bit of woody earthy character. Complex with some orange and light caramel notes coming through. Drinks well, nice mouthfeel with a good weight as Rouge usually does. Overall really lacking in hop character on the nose for an IPA, also lacking hops just slightly in the flavor dept. However the beer is very well bittered, a little sweet for a red IPA, yet quite complex and good. Would have again but not one of the better IPAs. Good for a change-up but Brutal Bitter, Santa’s Private Reserve, and other Rouge offerings are better.
