4.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Pours an amber colour with a slight orange tinge. Big white head that dissipates but leaves a healthy ring and lace covering the entire glass. Aroma is mostly pine, some grassiness, some citrus, and some sweet malts. Flavours are pine, grapefruit, grassy, earthy, dry finish. So well balanced the 8.2 abv is hardly noticeable.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Citrus, caramel, and some fruit and spice on the tongue. Nice white head and amber colour in the glass. Pine on the nose with green grass. A nice hop finish but not a double IPA by British Columbia standards.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
bottle. Poured hazy caramel-amber with a thin creamy off-white head. Aroma is fresh with spicy hop. Full mouthfeel, dry with an alcohol note. Roasted malt flavour with caramel and piney hop notes. Finishes with a sticky bitter grapefruit dryness.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Big head, nice lacing. Not ridiculous hoppy, but enough. Amazing balance with the caramel notes. I would rather have my DIPAs blow my doors off with hops, but this is decent enough.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask Days 2013. Pours deep orange with a white head. Aroma of fruity esters, pine, citrus, caramel. Slight sweetness up front leads to a lot of bitterness and hop flavor. Balance is pretty nice.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from the LCBO. First of all, Iíll admit that Iím not quite sure how old this bottle is exactly, but certainly at least a few months, maybe more. And based on fresher bottles Iíve had in the past (and not rated), I know that the hops have receded in intensity from where they were when the beer was fresh. But that said, I still quite liked this. The body has a lovely orange-amber hue with a thin white head and a few small floaters. Aroma is surprisingly complex - slightly overripe fruit, caramel, some grapefruit zest, hint of oxidization, slight woody tinge. Flavour is a bit more straightforward - caramel malt up front with some orange candy notes, grapefruit and pine in the not-as-hoppy-as-it-used-to-be-but-still-bitter finish. Iíll try to get around to re-rating from a fresher bottle as some point, but even with some age on it, this is a nice beer.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Limited edition at 8.5%.
Aroma: Surprising caramel notes with wood accents; like it had been wood aged. Candi sugar, jelly bean and orange are completing this uncommon nose for an IPA. But still a very complex and strong palette.
Appearance: Gold / copper, slightly hazy, thick head, rocky, medium long lasting and sticking well to glass.
Taste: Attack is showing a superb balance between malt and hop, between sugar and bitterness. The following action is happening mostly in salty and bitter notes of hops with a very and long finish. A lot of caramel, butterscotch, toffee, orange zest. Bitterness finish is showing herbal and resinous hops lasting several minutes. Mouthfeel is creamy, full and round. Really a two part tasting experience: malty and sweet to start with ; bitter and dry as finish. Two very independent characteristics. Nevertheless, the tasting experience is extremely interesting. A very particular IPA but remaining excellent.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from the LCBO. A deep hazy amber with a generous pillowy gold head that leaves a nice amount of lace. Nose is pine and caramel and bread. Lots of hop bitterness but heavily malted (maybe too much) to balance things. Alcohol warmth at the end. Lively creamy mouth feel. Quite good but I prefer their Regular or Black IPA.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A deep golden amber color. Taste is strongly hopped as per the name. There is a nice Caramel back bone to balance out this dipa. A great offering all though not the best dipa Iíve had.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
650 ml. (8.5% abv). Pours a honey brown, copper colour with a small one-finger head that dissipates gradually. Aroma is fresh hops, grass, berries, and mild alcohol. Taste is hops, hops, and more hops! Little hints of grass, straw, pine, grapefruit, yeast, toffee, warm mild alcohol, and light cheddar cheese. Caramel and biscuit malt backbone becomes more evident as it gets warmer. Has a very hoppy bitter and pine aftertaste. Warm and lively mouthfeel, low carbonation, and dry notes on the palate. Oily texture. An overall nice brew.
