COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed by Mikkeller at Nøgne Ø, Norway.
This imperial Oatmeal stout is brewed with one of the world’s most expensive coffees, made from droppings of weasel-like civetcats. The fussy Southeast Asian animals only eat the best and ripest coffee berries.Enzymes in their digestive system help to break down the bean. Workers collect the bean-containing droppings for Civet or Weasel Coffee. The exceedingly rare Civet Coffee has a strong taste and an even stronger aroma.
Ingredients : Water, malts, hops, yeast and Vietnamese ca phe chon coffee.

Bottle from Savvy1982. Thanks Kyle!! About a 2 year old bottle by now. Pours out solid black with huge mocha head. Head stays about a finger and a half after a few minutes. I have never smelled so much chocolate in a beer before. Awesome. Earthy notes and coffee in the aroma as well. Some espresso and burnt coffee in the first sip. Digging deeper I find some roasty malts and plenty of dry bitterness. Very good.

I drank the whole bottle,(nothing new). Black with small tan head. A malty chocolate and coffee nose, of equal parts, with a background of hops. Silky smooth medium palate. Tastes of coffee, chocolate milk, licorice, with a mild sweetness, and again with a hoppy background. Well balanced at this point. The finish however is astringent and dry, and it lasts forever. This could be good and bad. This is a special beer, ($15.00) and I’m really enjoying it,

Bottle 50 cl from erzbierschof.ch. Opaque black beer, brown head which adheres a little to the glass. Aromas of macha, dark chocolate, licorice, strong roasted and note of tar. The taste is intense and roasted, black coffee, licorice.molasses. The sturdy and strong malt takes all the place. Earthy beer but intense, acidity of dark fruits, notes of toast. Full body and velvety texture. The bitter of roasted and hops embrace with an alcoholic touch at the end of sips.

This is so delicious! The aroma is like sniffing a block of milk chocolate. It is thick, luscious and oily on the palate and tastes of roasted oats, coffee and vanilla. It is a perfectly balanced beer that makes me happy with every sip. Like a cool breeze on a summer day...it makes you smile. Bravo.

The best shit I’ve ever tasted.. literally. . Made from weasel droppings. Flavor and aroma is coffee grinds and toasted malts. Very malty and balanced.

Bottle. Pours dark black with an extremely creamy tan head. Aroma of malt, coffee, chocolate. Flavour is sweet, with lots of malt and some hops. Exceptional.

Aroma was a little weak for me but the coffee makes it way through. Its appearance is pitch black with a thin brown head. It taste great. With a hint of chocolate that gives way to the distinct more than average coffee flavor. The coffee flavor lingers on my tongue just enough for me to want to have more.
