Thanks Josh. Pours a rustic orange with near zero head. Aroma is very sweet. Carmel, alcohol, a light pepper and a bit of fruityness. It’s all over the place. The taste is like the aroma, all over the place. First and foremost, huge sweetness with an alcohol flavor and burn on the back end. There is a bit of fruityness, but not much. It’s not great or even that good. It just needs more balance and more smoothness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

22oz bottle. Served in a globe. Pours a deep, hazy copper with a thin head that dissipates quickly. Strong floral aroma of hop goodness with malty undertones - caramel and toffee - and a hint of earthy oak. Medium bodied, thick and carbonated, with a heavy, but balanced assault of malts and hops - caramel sweetness with vanilla from the oak and subtle notes of citrus and pine. A fine improvement on an already fine brew.

Pour is a cloudy ornage with a small white head. Aroma is a outstanding hop with some oaky vanilla. It fills the room. Flavor is hoppy out the wazoo and the barrel aging comes toward the end. It’s not as strong as in the aroma but its there. This was very well done. Mine says 9.9%.

Pours hazy mahogany colour with small head. Aroma of pine needles, syrup, caramel, hoppy, ripe and dried fruits, distant notes of paste adhesive, rose hip notes, oak, earth and leather. Flavour of caramel, toffee, ripe fruits, oak, syrup, mild vegetable notes, vanilla, leaves and goose berry notes. A bit too sweet but keeps the high abv from coming through too much. Could have interesting results with ageing.

65 cl bottle @ home, no BBE info
Sweet aroma with american hops, exotic fruits and some fruit sugar. Also some hints of vanilla, from the oak I guess. Flavour is sweet with fruity hops, vanilla and oaky notes. A bit unusual but good.

660ml bottle from Bierkompass

Pours dark orange with a medium foamy head. Aroma has notes of fruits, exotic hops, vanilla, oak and wood. Taste is sweet and malty with some fruits, vanilla and wooden notes. Hints of hops and vegetables. Finish is sweet, warming and slightly sticky with fruity notes. Perhaps slightly too old bottle, not very hoppy. Unbalanced, too sweet for my taste.

En botella color naranja oscuro, buen espuma y retención.Aromas a resina lupulo concentrado, madera y pino.Sabor intersante aunque el envejicimoento en barrica con el contraste de una doble ipa me confunde un poco en el despliegue de sabores.

Bottle --> Snifter. Appears a great bubbly and golden body. Smells bright and earthy with notes of dried fruits, wood and vanilla. Hoppy upfront and with a nice spicy flavor, this beer is smooth and heavy. Finishes hoppy and fills the mouth with robust bitter and oaky flavors. The aftertaste is pretty hoppy with a slight presence of alcohol - otherwise very drinkable.
