Sledge Jr (2716), Omaha, Nebraska, USA Apr 18, 2006 On tap at the brewpub. Rich gold with a white head. Faint malty fruity aroma. Good lacing. Tingly palate. Honey sweetness. Hop bitterness is mild and subdued. Has a kind finish. mdi (573), USA Aug 12, 2005 A solid pale in the Lazlo’s ilk...bread and biscuit...toast...earthy hop character with a good dash of citrus as well...decent body on the lighter side, with a bitter finish. I’m really glad this isn’t a cascade hop bomb! A very balanced pale ale, which helps make it a joy to drink. Braudog (3463), Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates Jul 24, 2005 Draft at the brewery’s Lazlo’s restaurant 7/23/05. True amber with a sticky head. Nice floral hop aroma. Sharp grassy hop character, very citric at first but deepening into earthier tones. I’d call this a cross between the English and American styles, but it is exceptionally well done.
