3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Slightly hazy light dirty gold pour with a smaller white head. Aroma is a bit of aspirin and cough syrup, with some sweet caramel. Medium to lighter palate, with a nice carbonation bite. Taste is slightly medicinal, caramel, cereal, candy sugar, with a nice hop profile. I see someone referenced GrapeNuts as a flavor comparison - I like that, I also get that.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz. bottle. Pours a medium, short lived, white head, over a hazy, amber (SRM 8) body....nose is light toffee/caramel, light cereal, light toast....taste is cereal (Grapenuts), light toffee/caramel, light bitter finish....mouth feel medium, carbonation medium. This is a fairly typical ESB, not complex, just pleasant. BJCP 7/3/12/4/7

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Poured a honey amber color with light head and some lacing and carbonation bubbles. Smells of grass. Can taste subtle hints of the biscuit but is too bitter for me.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
[Tap] Part of a sampler at Lazlo’s in Omaha. Dirty blonde pour with nice lacing. Crisp hops and grass dominate the nose. Actually one of the better smelling beers I had here. The taste is of hops, astringent grains and some odd sour notes. Low carbonation levels. A pretty pedestrian beer.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Orange and light brown with little head and a little haze. Not much aroma, a bit of orange. Flavor is slightly malth and a little sour, but is lacking much of anything else. Eventually there is a minor bitterness

Draft @ Lazlo’s, Lincoln, Nebraska.
I don’t know if there’s anything special about this, but it is a solid brew. Really nice red pour. Big head. Not a tone of things coming out of the aroma - very mild. Taste is another story; excellent caramel, malt and biscuit character here. A SLIGHT hop kick to it. I dig the floral notes on the backend. Really solid beer and a nice surprise!

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Aroma of powder coca, cherries, salted nuts, and earthy mineral. Flavors of toasted bread, earth, vanilla, and raisins. Spiced, roasted finish. Nicely balanced. Has an "old ale" feel that I enjoy. Very good.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle:   This is one musty ESB, very barnish and basement like.   Huge frothy head, white, nice lacing.   Guessing that because of the hugeness of the head, this one may have gone off the deep end.   Muted biscuit and caramel flavors, a little tart even, spritzy.   This is bizarre, its not your average ESB, course, it could be an older bottle.   Semi-sweet, tart, with lots of bubbles on the tongue.   Doesn’t smell off, taste off, but guessing this is not what was intended as this is not like any other ESB I have had.   I am really enjoying it tho, in its quasi ESB/Farmhouse/Saison sorta way.   Does have a fruity floral backside to it.   Very interesting.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Decent maltiness and hop balance, relatively subdued and slightly watery, but not bad.
