On tap at Lazlo’s in Lincoln. From Notes 9/29/2012. Pours a orangish color with white head. Grainy, bitter flavors. Pretty nice ESB. My second favorite beer on my visit to Lazlo’s.

Smells pretty rough but tastes much better... A lot smoother than one would think from its old style aroma...decent beer... Real easy to drink and nice bitterness with balance.. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle 12/13/12 (Courtesy of RSRIZZO)-42° in English Pint-Pours a murky orangish amber. It looks like a hefe. Aroma of caramel, malt, and citrus. Taste of caramel, malt, hops, and toffee. This medium bodied brew is not too shabby but I think a little past its prime.

Got a lot of the carmel but not much of the biscuit flavors. It is well balanced, although the finish is a bit weak. Palate and appearance pretty standard faire for an ESB. Would drinking again.

12oz bottle poured into an English pint at 48°. Color is a deep gold with a slight haze. Carbonation is a little low but it makes a nice thin tight head. Aroma is sweet, malt and caramel then just a hint of citrus (orange) in the back. It has a medium body that gives a smooth mouth feel. Flavor of grain, toffee and just a bit of citrus. After taste is bitter with a little more citrus showing. Overall aroma is better then the flavor, but still its a good ESB.

Tap. Clear copper pour, no head and sweet aroma. Flavor was nothing more than a little stale malt and cheap caramel. Didn’t care for this at all.

The beer pours a hazy orange-brown color with a white head. The aroma is full of toffee and grass and is fairly sweet overall. The flavor follows the aroma, with a lot of toffee and a hint of biscuit malt coming through up front, and a hint of grass and a very low amount of bitterness coming through from the hops. Easy to drink with a medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
