12oz bottle acquired in trade with valpoaj (thanks!). Poured a medium and hazy amber color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of toasted grains, citrus, and some caramel. Tastes of caramel, toasted malts, and ctirus.

Pours a very effervescent copper with a lightly-lacing, foamy off-white head. Tart floral lemon fruity aroma has some grainy maltiness. Body starts with some floral earthy notes and a mild dry tartness with some English hoppiness. Somewhat true to style, but unbalanced and somewhat off.

Cloudy dark copper body with a light off white head. Toffee and iced tea are the primary smells. There is also some nice apple and biscuit. The taste has some bitter apple core and wood notes. There is also some strong biscuit and a little bit of orange marmalade. This is a relatively sweet brew with some more hops than I expected. A little heavy handed on the carbonation.

Deep amber/copper beer wtih a nice starting head. Sweet caramel-malt aroma. Predominant sugary-caramel tones, not the bitterness I’d hoped for with the "ESB" title. Nonetheless, not a bad brew particularly in my new heartland home with few quality beer choices. Might market this as an amber ale, though.

Poured a clear dark copper color with a small creamy off-white head. Tons of tangerines with some alcohol fumes. Makes me think something happened. i wouldn’t now how to brew it to smell like that. Malty flavor with earthy hops and a moderately bitter finish. Short finish.

Bottle:   This is one musty ESB, very barnish and basement like.   Huge frothy head, white, nice lacing.   Guessing that because of the hugeness of the head, this one may have gone off the deep end.   Muted biscuit and caramel flavors, a little tart even, spritzy.   This is bizarre, its not your average ESB, course, it could be an older bottle.   Semi-sweet, tart, with lots of bubbles on the tongue.   Doesn’t smell off, taste off, but guessing this is not what was intended as this is not like any other ESB I have had.   I am really enjoying it tho, in its quasi ESB/Farmhouse/Saison sorta way.   Does have a fruity floral backside to it.   Very interesting.
