COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Serving as an ancient navigational pointer and constructed from unworked stones in the likeness of a human, INUKSHUK means, “you are on the right path.” Watch Man IPA keeps the bitterness firm, but in check, and is accented by floral and citrus notes from the hops. Pair with flaky grilled fish, creamy pastas and hearty salads. Brewed with 2-Row and Maris Otter malts with Nugget and Amarillo hops then Cluster and Sterling dry-hopped. Original Gravity: 14.3

Draft sample. Pale gold in colour with medium carbonation. Aromas are a pleasant classic blend of clean pale malt, white and pink grapefruit, and herbs. Flavours are of more white grapefruit, lime pith and herbal hops. Medium bodied with clean bitterness. Solid.

A hazy orange beer with a small white head. The aroma is light bread and resiny hops. The flavor is citrus and pine with a malty backbone.

Poured out of a 12oz bottle into a pint glass. Light copper color, half a finger of head that dissipates quickly. Aroma - slight piney aroma, faint - not overwhelming Taste - Flat and dry...nothing special Palate - Very light, flat tasting...bitter at the end. I like better, but not like this. Nothing special

12 oz bottle from Tipsy’s. Orange and pretty hazy with a large, lacy white head. Aroma of toasted malts, citrus fruits, zest, floral notes and peppery spice. Flavor is medium bitterness, resinous hops, pine, light spice and minimal sweetness. Medium body with a crisp and kind of dry feeling on the palate. Ample carbonation and a lingering bitter finish. Pretty bold.

12 oz bottle. I have a cold right now, but I should be able to detect SOME hops in the aroma. This is just a lifeless and utterly forgettable brew.

Bottle. Caramel malt and light orange peel aroma. Hazy golden yellow with small head. Sweet, lightly earthy toffee malt and moderately bitter grapefruit peel flavor. Light tinny aftertaste.

Patrickctenchi (3093) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - FEB 13, 2014
Bottle: Nearly clear amber with a thin, soapy head. Sweet grapefruit aroma. Very herbal/earthy bitter flavour..... It’s as if all the citrus element went missing between the smell and the taste.... Rather disappointing.

UPDATED: MAR 22, 2014 Dry-hopping has given this beer a very good aroma and the different varieties of hops create an equally enjoyable flavor. There’s not a lot here that stands out from other IPA’s but it’s a very good Nebraskan ale all the same.

Bottle poured a clear golden amber with a lasting off white head. Aromas of carmel, earthiness, dank bud, grapefruit zest and light pine. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of bread, earthiness, pine and a hint of citrus with a smooth dry lightly bitter finish.

12oz bottle. Looks amber. Aroma of floral/lightly citrusy hops plus a nice pale maltiness. Flavor the same. Average texture. Not a bad IPA, but not the best - they should make it hoppier.
