Serving as an ancient navigational pointer and constructed from unworked stones in the likeness of a human, INUKSHUK means, “you are on the right path.” Watch Man IPA keeps the bitterness firm, but in check, and is accented by floral and citrus notes from the hops. Pair with flaky grilled fish, creamy pastas and hearty salads. Brewed with 2-Row and Maris Otter malts with Nugget and Amarillo hops then Cluster and Sterling dry-hopped. Original Gravity: 14.3

Bottle poured a clear golden amber with a lasting off white head. Aromas of carmel, earthiness, dank bud, grapefruit zest and light pine. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of bread, earthiness, pine and a hint of citrus with a smooth dry lightly bitter finish.

Bottle from Happy Harry’s in Fargo, ND. Semi-hazy orange pour with a small but soapy white head. Floral hops dominate, with some citrus hops. Sharp bitterness on the back end but fairly well balanced. Solid IPA.

Bottle. Deep orange tinted gold body with a long lasting bright white head. The nose is fairly lively with grapefruit with some peanuts and apricots. The nose is fruity and very inviting. This tastes a lot like orange peels and bread crust. there is also some dry hay and old books in the finish. A decent and clean dry IPA.

12oz bottle. Looks amber. Aroma of floral/lightly citrusy hops plus a nice pale maltiness. Flavor the same. Average texture. Not a bad IPA, but not the best - they should make it hoppier.

Bottle: Nearly clear amber with a thin, soapy head. Sweet grapefruit aroma. Very herbal/earthy bitter flavour..... It’s as if all the citrus element went missing between the smell and the taste.... Rather disappointing.

Aroma is spices and malts. The flavor is citrus, spices, malts and a mix of tangy and mild tartness. Interesting but not incredible.

Bottle, f’real.

Pours a pretty hazy golden color with a big head that leaves nice lacing on the glass.

The aroma is malty at first, doughy & lightly toasty, this gives way to a more dominantly floral and citrus hop aroma with some light notes of graham cracker.

The flavor is bordering on aggressively bitter, but there is a touch of malt and graham cracker sweetness in there that add to a pretty good balance. The hop flavor is citrus rind, honestly it’s fairly one noted, but it’s not bad either. I can’t say that I love this beer, but it went down very quickly... Something needs to be more refined in the hop character, but the way the malt plays here is pretty cool.
