Bottle. Clear reddish amber pour with a smaller white head. Aroma is muted fruits and caramel. Medium palate. Taste is similar to aroma in the elements, but there’s kind of a sharp, off-putting note in the taste as well. Not loving this one.

Bottle @ home. Cloudy, red-orange appearance with an off white head that disappears pretty quickly. Toasty, fairly rich caramel malty, quite sweet, albeit it boring aroma. Fairly thick mouth feel. Big caramel, thick grassy, rich, sweet malty flavor. I’m not digging it.

Compliments of Paul B, thank you sir. Poured with a smallish, off white, fine head that soon settled out and no lace. Color is a slightly hazy burnished brass. Aroma is hazelnut, malt, toffee, spice. Flavor is very close to nose and enhanced with some carbonic tang. Body is good, ditto carbonation. Finish is like flavor, no off notes and tapers over average time to some of that tang. Nice winter brew.

Pours cloudy golden with a tiny head that quickly dissipates. Fair amount of malt with a mildly hop finish. A pretty average amber.

Pours hazy gold, with slight white head. Aroma is sweet fruit, and spices. Taste is very yeasty, citrus, spicy, cinnamon maybe? some citrus hop bit on the back end. some caramel malts.

Pours a lightly hazy amber with a somewhat thin beige head that has good retention. Aroma is big on cereal grain and toast, some caramel, spicy hops and light fruity notes. Flavor is very grainy, with a sort of earthy bite, might have some rye in it, some caramel, spicy hops and light pine to the finish. Palate is medium bodied, a little sticky and moderately carbonated. I thought this was decent, seems a lot like a hoppy Marzen, but with some light fruity notes.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a long duration, off white head, with some lacing, over a hazy amber (SRM 8) body.....nose is sweet malts, with toffee/caramel, touch of yeast, light hop spice....taste is light cereal, touch of toffee/caramel, bit of dried fruit (raisin, fig) finishing with a balancing bitterness....mouth feel medium, carbonation makes a creamy mouthful. This is on the malt end of this very broad style and has some characteristics of an ESB. The fruit flavors are slightly off putting, and unusual in this style, but this is, in general, a reasonable beer. BJCP 7/3/12/4/7

Pours cloudy dark orange with light creamy head. Aroma is a rather pleasant mix of sweet malt with smoky nut and a hint of citrus. Unfortunately the taste doesn’t quite live up to the aroma. Starts out slightly sweet with caramel and coffee flavors which lead to a rather grainy tasting sourness that I didn’t care for. Just a touch of smokiness comes through on the aftertaste. I’ll pass on this one next time.

Havent been much impressed by this brewing co.This is mediocre to above average again.Good mouthfeel kind of yeast like subtle fruit hop aroma with malt, this seems pretty malty with a mellow citrus like flavor/bittering. with a dark malted bittering.(dark fruit notes) Malty carmelly with dark tones and some bittering the only thing outstanding its the mouthfeel, taste is somewhat average to almost above average. Pretty malty and oktoberfest like in generall, yeasty with citrus tones.Ok
