Tap at the bräuhaus. Red-brown colour with a medium baige head. Sweet light spicy malty aroma and a sweet dry taste. Medium body and asweet thin finish.

Clear medium orange amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, nutty peel, damp stain - fusty, toasted. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, nut peel - damp stain - fusty, caramel malt, sweet malt, straw - hay bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110924]

Berlin beer fest. Medium amber with a rapidly disappearing head. Aroma is light spicy. Flavour is tangy caramel with some spice and herb and a little pepper.

UPDATED: SEP 12, 2011 From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden brown with a creamy tan head. Aroma is mild roasted malty with a mild breadish note. Mild acidic too. Roasted malty and light spiced finish. Smooth and nice brew.

From tap. Pours hazy dark brown with a small tan head. Toasted malty aroma. Bitter, toasted and breadish. Roasted and slight sweet malty finish.

2 litre swing top bottle, bought at the brewery. Butter, malt and a touch of ash in the aroma. Malty flavor with a touch of caramel. Just a bit sweet. Nice and smooth beer, easy drinker with some quality.

Draught. Brown coloured. Malty aroma with notes of apples and a spicy touch. Mild and soft malt flavour. Served by a young, blond, chubby Fräulein wearing a leather apron. Very authentic.
