I have an Ename trappist glass so I was looking forward to finally trying the beer. Sadly, this one is not so good. Light fruit and malt aroma; standard for the style. Gold and quickly fading head. Flavor has sweet malt and bad iron taste.

(33cl bottle, best by 28/11/2007) Large and rocky off-white head atop clear apple juice body, nice lacing. Aroma is medium sweet, spicy yeasty, floral, orange, light banana, bubblegum. Taste is medium sweet, orange, spicy yeasty, some herbal, floral, light dusky. Light-medium body, very drinkable. Solid beer, very easy to pass the time with.

33 cL bottle. Pours clear golden with white small creamy head. Clear hop smell. Carbonated. Taste of corn, yeast and coriander. Reminds very much of a pilsner.

This looked excellent in the glass, there seemed to be quite a bit of yeast, but still spot on. Aroma was typical blonde buttery yeast. Taste similar quite drinkable but again predictable.

Bottle, thanks to Cube. Blonde clear body with a white small but stable head. Aroma of malts, dust. Dry, bitter and salty malt flavour, little bit dull.

Warm-gloden coloured beer with a fine carbonation and a fluffy white head on top. In the aroma, hints of fruits, some hops, sweet corn and malts. Taste is slight mild with a smooth maltyness, some hints of green herbs (Hops) and some fresh fruits like grapes. Aftertaste is good but short.

Sweet, fruity, delicately spicy pillows of suds up the nose. Froth and lace everywhere. A touch of sour metal, like the Dubbel. Pineapple? Thick, sweet, silkily spicy. What a lovely, mellowing specimen.

Bottled. A clear blonde coloured beer with a decent white head and a touch of lacing. The aroma has some yeast but also a little bit of vegetable noted. The taste is mostly yeasty with some pepper flavours, but it is pretty bland really. A dull Belgian Ale.
