Pours a clear goldblond beer, fine laced white head. In the nose a little yeasty, but not very pronounced smell whatsoever. Full body and round mouthfeeling. Bitter and slightly acidic taste, hints of green apples. Nice bitterdry aftertaste. Surprisingly much taste for "just a blond"!

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 blackruss (12) - NEW ZEALAND - JUL 23, 2012
UPDATED: JUL 31, 2012 Served between fridge& room temperature, it poured a cloudy golden colour with a lot of head, which settled down to about a knuckle’s worth and stayed around for half of the glass. Very faint aroma but quite a sweet/malty taste while in the mouth and no bitterness at all. Went down smooth with a very faint bubble on the back of the throat. Left a pleasant aftertaste for a few moments after each sip.

I like this one. Full body, first taste is malty, not sweet. Then followed by a little tart. The finale is herbal and bitter. Carbonation is strong. A rich taste in a relatively light beer, according Belgian norms at least.

Bottle (33 cl) from beerplanet.be. Clear deep golden, medium creamy white head. Bready and grainy malt aroma, some earthy notes, some pear, and floral hops. Medium bodied, medium to high carbonation. Semi dry with a delicate bitterness. Very elegant and tasty.

Light golden color. Very hoppy aroma. Organic hop tastes in the body, smooth palate, very long. A great straight forward example of a Belgian Blond.
