UPDATED: JAN 5, 2006 Botle Orange amber, big off-white foamy head. Apricot and flowery honeyish aroma. Neutral flavor - slightly honeyish, flowery and fruity - overall a bit too watery though. Mellow mouthfeel, light fruity exit.

UPDATED: AUG 31, 2007 Bottle Deep amber body with a lightly brown creamy head. Aroma of fine malts and hops, but not very well balanced. Moderately sweet, lightly bitter flavour. Nice complexity (some spices) and a good balance.

UPDATED: APR 30, 2006 I do not know what they say is retired, I drank it yesterday, and aparently is a Christmas beer. The colour was good, unfiltered alike, very orange, and good.

Amber coloured beer with lots of floaties. Sweet, spicy nose. Again sweet, fruity and spicy taste but it ends rather quickly, leaving room for wel...almost nothing really. It just goes flat. Only some slight metallic notes stay. The beer starts more than OK but the end is a complete turn-off. Pity.

UPDATED: APR 21, 2011 Bottled. Quite fizzy beer. Golden with white head. Candi-sugar sweetness and wheat in aroma. Sweet, fruity taste and a long warming and sweet aftertaste. Rating: 5-3-7-4-15-3.4. 051029

Bottle. It pours a slightly hazy, orange-golden body with lots of carbonation forming a big, dense and creamy off-white head. Beautiful lacings. Fruity, sugary nose with peach, some banana, generic fruityness, a spicy touch and some hops. The flavor is maybe a bit on the sweet side, but not much. Some white sugar is sure present, but there’s enough hops, spices and fruityness to cope with it. Rather dry finish with decent bitterness. Full-bodied and quite effervescent. Maybe not the best tripel, but I like it. Quite easy to drink and tasteful. 090616

(Bottle 33 cl) Clear amber with a rather nice, off-white head. Weak caramelish aroma with a slightly spicy nose - cannot pinpoint the exact spices though. Sweetish, flavours of caramel malt. Almost no bitterness. Quite christmasy. 291005

Bottled @ Fynske Øldage: Amber coloured. Hazy. Small dense off white head. Sweet and sticky flavour. Some yeast and spices are in the background. Is sweet in the end.

rauchbier (3205) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - FEB 20, 2005
Bottle conditioned, at Essen Kerstbierfestival 2004. Hazy amber, thin white head and gentle condition. Over sweet honeyed maltiness and yeast in the nose, gentle malt and a tingle of hop bitterness in the mouth and a delicate bitter sweet finish.

Bottled. Label says Cuvee 974 Ename. Malty, caramelly aroma. Malty, sweet flavour with notes of caramel and a hint of spiciness and yeast. Decent beer.

Golden coloured. Metallic head. Fruity flavour. A bit thin and artificial. Nothing special. Not much winter about this brew.
