Jun 5, 2008 Bottle, Belgian Belly, Manchester. Pours a dense dark brown with a thick foamy biege head. Looks very inviting. Aroma is sweetish, with roasted malts, spice and dark fruit. Flavour is malty with more fruit and notes of caramel ,yet with a slight metallic tang which luckilly isn’t too prominent in the mix. Quite heavily carbonated mouthfeel. Far from perfect, but enjoyable on the whole.

May 12, 2008 Hazy brown with huge beige head. Sweet aroma with caramel, ripe fruits and roasted malt. Sweet flavor with notes of roasted malt, caramel, ripe fruits and caramel. Ends sweet.

May 9, 2008 Bottle. [Courtesy of yespr, thanks buddy] Large creamy beige head that mostly lasted. Good display of lacework. Cloudy dark amber colour. Aroma of caramel, nutty, fruit, yeast, grain. Medium bodied with an average carbonation. Moderated sweet flavour. Nutty sweet and caramelized lingering finish.

Apr 30, 2008 Bottle from Cracked Kettle. Dark brown body with frothy head. Sugary and malty nose. Taste of caramel, sugar, malts and some coffee. Nice texture. Enjoyable.

Apr 17, 2008 Bottle. A beige bubbely head on a clear reddish brown colored body. Light sweet caramellish malts to the nose. Fairly sweet malty taste with notes of mild coffee and cocoa. Also some crispness and metallic tones underneath. Light to medium body. Faint bitterness in the finish.
