Medium beige head. Clear deep red body with carbonation. Earthy dusty caramelly aroma with chocolatey spicy notes. Dry-sweet roasty caramelly dusty taste with earthy spicy toffee and bread notes. Mid-bodied. Sharpish mouthfeel. Dryish bready spicy earthy aftertaste with dried fruit and herb notes. Traces of metal at the end. Very nice, clean, and also highly drinkable. (0.33l bottle, wine monopoly Vika, Oslo.)

0.33l bottle. Pours a deep deep clear mahogany red body with a small bubbly beige head. Aroma is light dried fruits, sour plums, some candy sugar, malts, burned caramel and hints of yeast. Quite lively carbonated, has a light and almost watery mouthfeeling and feels medium-bodied. Tastes light burned caramel, something that reminds me of flowers, thin chocolate paper and it ends light dry. OK and quite drinkable but nothing extrordonary.

33cl bottle. Brown red pour with a big beige head, that stays pretty long and laces well. The aroma is hard to get because the beer is served too cold. Taste is medium sweet (malt, caramel). Soft carbonation with a short finish.

Deep amber coloured body with a touch of a ruby hue on the bottom and a thinnish tan head. Aroma of malt, brown sugar and a very mild yeast smell. Medium-bodied; Very metallic and over aerated malt and alcohol flavour with some light sweetness, a touch of yeast and a bit more of the metallic tastes - not too pleasant. Overall, not such a great beer, but not horrible either. Not too great for the style, but some light good tastes remain. I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased from La Bier Tempel in Bruxelles, Belgium on 02-January-2011 for €2.25 sampled in Amsterdam, The Netherlands on 02-January-2011.
