I was disappointed by this one. I had it on draft and maybe some weird stuff from the machine ruined the beer - I don’t know. A typical dark dubbel with burned and sweet notes, but also rather metallic and flat in the taste. Loads of better options in this genre.

750mL bottle. Poured reddish-brown colour, with thin beige head and fine lacing. Caramel in aroma, with some bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied.

Bottle. Pours a ridiculous bursting pour. Nut brown, taste is a bit sweet at first but a lingering bitter. Thin mouthfeel, well-carbonated.

Shared bottle @ Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours a nice tan head, deep golden in color. Tones of yeast, toffee and spices in the aroma. Nice balance. Slightly acidic. A really nice Dubbel I think, will have this again.

Has a nice deep reddish/brownish color and a splendid malty aroma. The flavor first comes sweet and ends up with a taste of lemon

Very good looks! A little disappointing taste though. Especially the kind of menthol aftertaste.

33cl bottle. Brown red pour with a big beige head, that stays pretty long and laces well. The aroma is hard to get because the beer is served too cold. Taste is medium sweet (malt, caramel). Soft carbonation with a short finish.

That's my kind of beer, very good taste, a bit of malt, fruit and caramel. A good balance between the sweet and the bitterness. Dark with a nice head.
