330ml Bottle. The first thing you notice with this beer is it looks and SOUNDS like you are pouring a glass of coke!! The thin head does subside tho leaving a medium lacing. The aroma is poor. Im really not getting anything from it - maybe if you snort hard you’d get a faint hint of caramel. The taste is overpoweringly sweet. Again a hint of caramel with chocolate and dark fruits also present. But as others have said this def has a metallic aftertaste. Not a good beer.

Bottle from Hopology, Nottingham. Ruby colour with a big white head. Yeast a malty fruit aroma. Taste sweet stewed fruit.

(bottle, 33cl) Dark brown colour with a big and beige loose foamy head. Discreetly roasted malty aroma with bready accents and subtle dark berry-fruity notes. Moderately sweet flavour, medium bodied at best with a moderate carbonation. Dark malty, delicately earthy and roasted taste with mildly fruity notes; moderately sweet and rather slim malty finish. Prettily boring for a Dubbel. 21.II.16

Vrij smakeloos biertje. Als je mond helemaal zuiver en neutraal is proef je wat gebrande mout en lichte caramel, maar als je al iets anders gegeten hebt of gedronken proef je gewoon spa rood. Slap en vergeetbaar.

Bottle @ Alma Inn, Lumb. Reddish-brown with a creamy, slightly off-white head. Has a strength with light tasting darker malts prevalent.

Bottle 33cl. Dark red-brown color, frothy light tan head, stays a while, some lacing; roasty malty nose, caramel, coffee, licorice, brown sugar; taste medium sweet, roasty, slight bitterness, coffee notes, bit thinnish; prickly on the tongue, medium body, oily texture; dry sweetbitter finish, getting more bitter, bit earthy and slightly harsh.

Flaska från Beergium. Något år gammal. Kastanjebrun som drar åt rött, klar, högt krämigt skum som består länge. Snyggt. Söt doft av marsipan, smörkakor, brända mandlar och lite jäst. Söt men relativt balanserad. Vetekrans med sukat, marsipan, lite belgisk jäst, körsbärskärnor och en lätt men tydlig kryddig beska. Trevlig.
