Medium beige head. Clear deep red body with carbonation. Earthy dusty caramelly aroma with chocolatey spicy notes. Dry-sweet roasty caramelly dusty taste with earthy spicy toffee and bread notes. Mid-bodied. Sharpish mouthfeel. Dryish bready spicy earthy aftertaste with dried fruit and herb notes. Traces of metal at the end. Very nice, clean, and also highly drinkable. Very nice in appearance with its mahogany body under a beige foamy head. Roasted sweet malty aroma. Smooth and harmonic taste of sweet fruits, milk chocolate offset by bitter coffee notes towards the ending. Well bodied (BBF, Oslo 10.04.2008).

Bottle at home. Slight gusher. Somewhat dark brown color, thick creamy tan head. Aroma of toffee, caramel, bready yeast and licorice. So far so good. Flavor is quite sweet, loads of licorice, salmiak and spices. Heavy malts and huge carbonation. Rich flavor, thick body. Quite a nice brew actually. Edit: It gets worse though, after a couple of sips it started to taste a bit chemical and slightly sour in the wrong way. Few points off...
