Bottle at Botteltje, Ostend, Belgium. A golden coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Typical fruity, Belgian spice aroma. Tastes fruity, malty, yeasty, spice, bitter, dry. A rather plain tripel that used to be much better 10 years ago IMO.

Countbeer (1943) - Best of Eindhoven ohne Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - AUG 6, 2011
Bottle: White head on top of a light cloudy yellow orange colored beer. Smell grains, hops, yeast, fruit, hops and some malts. Taste is a sharp mix of hops, fruit, yeast, grains, sweet but more bitter some herbs and a hint of alcohol. Bitter light fruity aftertaste. Medium carbo, sharp tingly mouthfeel, medium body and a watery texture.

OleR (3660) - Oslo, NORWAY - AUG 2, 2011
Small bottle from Vinmonopolet Vika, Oslo. A tall fluffy white head, over a sparkling, almost fizzy, pale yellow-golden body. Dry, light sharp pale malts in the aroma. Notes of alcohol, and a light acidic fruit/berry tone. Taste is medium sweet. Perfumed, with notes of creamed caramel, and tones of dried yellow fruits. Light astringent in the mouth. Earthy bitterness underneath. A noticable alcohol sting in the finish.

33 cL bottle: appearance is golden brown with white head. Aroma is of spices and yeast. Flavor is pretty bland for a Belgian, malt with a bit of spices, nothing more.

Palme (1437) - Bergen, NORWAY - JUL 17, 2011
0.33l bottle. Pours a really strange looking, almost glowing light hazy golden body with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma is light yeasty, wet straws and leafs, some sweet red currants and hints of gooseberries and something sour. Really aggressive carbonation, oily texture and medium-bodied. Tastes kinda alcohol-yeasty with notes of candy and wet leafs. Not to integrated and feels a bit raw and just off balance.

larsga (4684) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUL 16, 2011
Big white head. Clear paleish yellow body with fast carbonation. Light mealy herbal aroma with dried fruit and grape notes. Dry-sweet dried fruit and honey taste with resiny soft metal and grassy notes. Mid-bodied. Hot, mealy mouthfeel with faint buttery slickness. Dryish dried fruit and honey aftertaste with herbal coriander and grape notes. Really nice. Quite delicate and elegant. (0.33l bottle, wine monopoly Vika, Oslo.)

ClubGonzo (1984) - Bergen, NORWAY - JUL 8, 2011
Bottle from Vinmonopolet in Valkendorfsgate, Bergen. Clear light yellow body, huge creamy white head. Nose is faint traces of pale malts and floral notes. Weak. Taste is sweet molasses, floral hints and metallic tones. Pretty crappy, actually. :-P

Yellow orange color. Nice smell, nice taste. Carbonation is lively but suits the beer and the ABV in my opinion.

Koelschtrinker (7060) - Köln (Cologne), North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - JUN 19, 2011
Getrunken beim 1. BTO-Treffen. Alkoholischer medizinischer Geruch. Im Antrunk und im Mittelteil unangenehm süß, dabei können andere Aromen nicht hervorkommen, denn es ist wirklich penetrant. Dazu ein unangenehm trockener Nachgeschmack. Test vom 30.12.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 11,7,6,8,8,7 - 7,45
