Clear crisp golden beer with a bubbly head and column bubbliness. Smell is bread and fruitiness, hint of vanilla and crisp metallic bitterness. Rotten fruit and slight alcoholic sourness. Salty bitter taste with a nice fizz. Sour bitter finish. Again vanilla, mixed with fruitiness.

Smells of farmyard yeast. Quite lively which gives a tickle at the back of the throat. Lasting head and golden colour. Tastes sweet with a bit of honey. Strong aftertaste of alcohol.

Keg at De Zandloper Taphouse, Bruges, West Flanders, Belgium. Yellow gold with white head. This is quite a sweet beer, candy sugar then a herby, yeasty character. Some pear drop notes, quite carbonated, burpy. Late beery note. Just okay.

This is a Typical Belgian abbey beer, of the lighter kind. The taste isn’t bitter at all, but somehow sweet. Similar to Omer.
