Faint aroma of brown sugar. Deep, brownish red appearance with no foam. Flavor is borderline tasteless. Faint caramel, juice and citrus notes. Overall, very basic with weak flavors.

On tap. Pours with a somewhat murky, deep bronze-brown body with a medium sized tan head. Aromas are sweet and toasty, some melanoidins, munich malt, raisins, maple, grainy, clean. Flavors are a bit too bitter for my taste (balance wise), melanoidins, toasted malt, earthy, and leathery. Toasted corn, bitter, grainy. Bitter balance, not too sweet, dry finish. Medium bodied with slightly bright carbonation.

Pours a mahogany color with an off-white head. Smells like concord grape juice. Very sweet and sugary. Tons of grape fruitiness, some toasted malt, and a little bit of caramel. The flavor is, somehow, even more grapey. A touch of cough syrup, bready malt, and a hint of caramel. Light fig note to it as well. Couldn't power through this one.

Big malty taste in this hazy cola colored brew. Taste is also semi-sweet with an alcohol back to it. Some minor roasted notes at the back end. I preferred the X1 oak and vanilla version.
