Bought a bottle at Bert’s Bierhuis. The beer has dark brown color and a small cream colored head, CO2 level is a little low. In the aroma tones roasted malts, caramel and some dark fruits. The taste is a little dry with medium sweetness and some tones of caramel, liqorice and malts. The finish is pleasant, sweet and a medium bitterness. Not a very interesting one, but at least better than Engel Bock Hell

Bottle. Murky coke brown. Burnt caramel and a little earth and cherry in the nose, burnt caramel sweetness in the mouth. Medium body, soft fizz and that caramel aftertaste.

Bottle 0.5L. Clear reddish/brown body with small, frothy, tan head, mostly diminishing with virtually no lacing. Moderate malty (caramel, light roasted) and light hoppy aroma, with notes of alcohol. Moderate sweet and light-to-moderate bitter flavour with some acidic note. Light-to-medium body with watery-to-oily texture; soft carbonation; light alcoholic feeling in the finish.

Toffee, roasted malts. Very bready too. Lager style bready yeasts. Flowery hops. Slightly hoppy bitter end M: Medium and bit molasses body. Medium carbonation. Bittersweet aftertaste O: Good drinkability. Classic German Bock. Recommended [ BA Review @ 12/25/2012 ]

Bottle 0.5l. Hazy reddish-brown with low white head. Nice aroma of dried plum, raisin, cherry, a bit woody, faint vanilla note. Quite sweet cherry flavor ,raisin, some fruitiness, spicy, dried fruits. Lively carbonation, medium body. Sweet sticky aftertaste.

50cl screwtop, Stadelbauer, bb: NN. Rather thin ruby-maroni pour, almost translucent. Fruity sugary nose of plum wine, Vitamalz, pear syrup. Taste is nearly the same with that diluted pear/apple syrup quality to it, with a redeeming drinkability and not too much sugar. Soggy mouthfeel. Balancing dryish hop bitterness underneath.

Bottle. Nice clear reddish chestnut brown color with a rather stable beige head. Aroma of malt, caramel, light toastiness and a nutty note. Sweet malty flavor with caramel, a bit of toast, some dark bread, nuts and a slightly drier finish. Medium-bodied. Alright.

Bottle 50cl, a clear dark amber beer with low off white head. Nose is on caramel and light grapes. Aroma is on toasted grain and caramel, toffee, brown bread notes, light candied fruit, medium sweet, pleasant but not that complex.Finish on toffee again with barley sugar and honey touch.

Bottle (screw cap). Almost clear amber-brown with a small head. Aroma of caramel malts and bread with roasty and spicy touch, slightly unclean and skunky in first minutes. Moderate sweet with caramel, bread, dried fruits and alcohol, low bitterness, needs some time to open up. Medium-bodied, watery texture. A bit flat, but kinda OK.
