Test vom 25.11.2010, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 11,10,11,9,14,10 - 10,30

Dark brown color. Pear and licorice in the aroma. Malty flavor with pear and just a hint of caramel. Sweetish, easy going beer.

0,5 l bottle as a gift.
Poured deep brown with a small lacing tan head. Aroma of caramel, light molasses, some sourish yeast, candy sugar, cereals, straw. Medium bodied beer with a sweet caramel-malt base, light biscuits and malts, some chocolate, light fruity flavors. Drinkable but not an exciting one.

Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass not as dark as exspected, small head. Starts soft-malty, a bit fruity, bit also quite washy. Finish more dry, a bit smokey-malty, still too mild. Average!

Very nice bottle! Reddish-brown in the glass Strong malty and spicy in the nose. Strong caramel malts and some spicy aromas. Bitter-malty and spicy caramelly finish. The further course gets more and more sweet, some coffe notes come through!

Bottle at home. Clear dark amber pour, thin off-white head. Aroma of roasted malts, dirt and some faint fruits. Flavor is watery, slightly roasted, somewhat sweet and a bit bitter in the finish. Quite boring. Average carbonation and a watery texture.
