Malty, honeyish and wooden aroma. Golden chestnut, big bubbles, nice creamy head. Malty with a roasted wooden note, citrus, nuts, a tad dust, toasted finish and afterplay. Medium to light body, sparkly mouthfeel - quite refreshing. I fully agree with Joris - really not a bad one-off.

Clear golden with small off-white head. Flavour is malt, sweet, bitter, caramel and sweet.

Strong amber color with durable head. The smell is strong spicy, lightly hoppy and malty. The aroma is very spicy and strong malty, a slight grainy aroma is noticeable. Very fresh hop aroma in the aftertaste. Finish is well balanced hoppy-malty, with a nice sweetness in Background.

Malzig und getreidig im Geruch, jedoch sparsam ausgeprägt. Malziger und metallischer Verlauf. In der Mitte kommen einige getreidige Aspekte hinzu, bevor das Bier ziemlich abrupt ausklingt. Überzeugt nicht. Test vom 15.4.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche

Klebrig süß-herber Antrunk auf mildem bis wässrigen Unterton. Die unausgereifte Süße bleibt und versperrt der der Herbe den Weg. Wenig hopfig, disharmonisch, lieblos. Im Abgang weniger süß, es bleibt aber klebrig, etwas alkoholisch. Wohl eher ein Experiment als ein ernstgemeintes Gebräu. 9/5/5/6/9/5

[ As Engel Europameister-Bier 2008 ]. Clear light to medium yellow orange color with a average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, vintage, old malt, sugar. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20081122]

Clear golden with tiny off white head. Sweet aroma with toasted malt and caramel notes. Sweet flavour with notes of caramel, malt and cardboard.

Bottle, 6.0%. Clear golden colour. Very small white head. OK flavour, hint of malt, medium bitterness, clean enough. Mediocre macro lager.

50 cL bottle, 2008 version. Pours clear and golden orange with a lacing white head. Aroma is dry malty and slight grainy. Mild caramel malt base with a mild bitterness. Mild spiced and slight grassy flavour into the finish.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel as well as a lgiht spicy hoppy note. The flavor is sweet malty combined with notes of straw and lighter notes of honey and caramel. It has a good body. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle EM 2008 version. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Dark yellow colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Light malty/grainy flavor. Light bitter slightly metallic average finish. Watery palate and way too fizzy. Not a good Märzen.
