Pours a light copper with a thin white head. Aroma was a little malty and citrusy. Thin and watery mouthfeel. Lemon zest, grapefruit, and a dash of hops on the tongue. Nothing special but it was quite drinkable.

This tastes almost exactly like Miller High Life or Corona. Sorry. The fact that it's German doesn't score it any extra points.

Carrot and orange aroma. Malty orange flavor. Just a bit of hops and dustiness. Cardboard. Rather skunky.

UPDATED: NOV 23, 2003 Huge carbonation that lasts for a little while. Slight hops aroma with a good helping of malt. Color is a light to medium gold with ok carbonation. Flavor is a little sweet but kind of weak with mostly malts. Very well balanced though. Finish is clean and smooth. A decent german lager. UPDATE: After looking more closely at the other entries for this brewer, some people have this defined as Engel Export. My appologies if this is a repeat. All info for this beer was taken directly off of the Reinheit imports webpage.

Great beer for when your friends come over. It's not overly expensive, they probably never had it, and it's pretty good. A slight hint of alchol with good balance of hops and malt.

UPDATED: OCT 9, 2003 Very drinkable beer! I've been drinking this beer since May. The up front flavor is a mild hop bitterness and the finish has a slightly sweet malt flavor. A very good bridge beer or session beer. A good introduction beer for people that are used to american lagers.

clear golden colour, the head is initialy big and creamy, nice lacing, moderat aromatic hoppiness, notes of malt, medium-bodied, sweet with notes of alcohol in a short malty finish
