( Bottle , 0,5 Litres, screw-top ) Golden colour (oho !, where have i got that from ...?) with slight head and quite flavoursome aroma, produces a sweetly body, but with quite a full-bodied background, anyhow fairly well-balanced, not a bad beer, even a good one ! --- 15.07.04

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Appearance: Clear light/medium amber with a finger thick tight white head.
Aroma: Citrus fruitiness, spicy, herby/grassy, biscuit/bread and hint of honey.
Taste: Low/medium sweetness and sourness with medium bitterness. Citrus, slight honey and spice notes.
Palate: Smooth thick texture and light/medium body and mouthfeel. Prickly carbonation and quite astringent. The bitterness and a slight tartness appears in a fairly abrupt finish.
Comments: Very good and left a glass lace.

Despite the American malt liquor twist off cap, I was pleasantly surprised by this beer. Pours a crystal clear, golden hue with a small, fizzy, white head. Ink-blot lacing. The nose is of orange blossom honey and white bread with a hint of white pepper. Lots of honey in the flavor. Also, well-balanced and a bit grainy. Medium-bodied with a silky mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Short, creamy, perfectly balanced finish. This is now one of my favorite Pilseners. Great session brew ! Underrated, I think.

Orange-gold; very little to no head. Grassy, hoppy nose and a bit of grain, corn flakes-like, a bit roasted. Bitterish, flowery, grassy, bit of hoppiness in the taste. Little malt but the roasted corn. Very refreshing beer, light bodied. Nice Helles – strange corn flakes taste, rather expected from a USA beer than a German. Nice result all the same.

Drawn to this by the strange bottle shape and malt liquor 40 oz style twist off cap. Thought it would be terrible but surprisingly good. Doesn’t cost much, a few bottles of this would be fine for relaxing

Fat marcipan nose.
Golden, no visible carbonation, low lacing blanket head.
Grainy malt a hint of wild flowers peeks through, a bit dusty.Grain when exhaling - a quick bitterhop stab at the end.
Solid body and a well-lagered sparkling mouthfeel.
