Berlin Trip beer No.23. Bottle at Aufsturz. Big fluffy head, orange translucent body. I found it to be much sharper than other hefe weizens. Citrus flavours dominate, some spiciness and malt sweetness. No hops. Heavier body than normal. Steve and I agreed on this one: a good beer.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a very hazy golden with a dense, white head. Vague aroma of yeast and banana. Medium body with sweetish notes of wheat, banana and citrus - all the usual stuff for a Hefe - with some yeast and phenols thrown in. Not a bad Hefe though. 190207

Murky orange-brown beer. White head, starts big, but quickly gone to nothing. Nice spicy, coriander aroma. Has a not so pleasent, heavy flavor.

Bottle: Golden coloured, only slightly hazy, mid-sized creamy head, slowly collapsing; mainly bananas and cloves - as usual - in the nose; sweetish flavour, medium bodied, quite fizzy; short fruity and sweetish finish, a bit tart and bitter in the aftertaste. Not well rounded, boring...........

Bottle. Weak fruity aroma. Almost clear golden colour, big stable white head. The flavour has apple acidity and fruitiness, a bit cidery. Strange, I am not sure if this is off or not.

Typical aroma of banana, apricot and cloves with nice big white head and typical Weizen appearance. Nice beer as almost all of the Hefe Weissbier, but not the best.

(bottle) Cloudy and hazy orange colour with a big foamy white head. Shy clovy and slightly banana-fruity nose. Light-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, lively carbonated. Moderately sweet wheaty taste with banana and a rather unpleasant fizzy and clovy finish. Not very round, not very good.

Bottle. Light hazy yellow colour with a big white head. Fruity aroma and a sweet fruity taste. Medium body with a sweet finish.
