On tap. It is not what you expect from a weihnachtsbier. A bit a kellerbier type but more sweet an with little character. A quite neutral palate bot in smell and taste. Short aftertaste.

Noticed sediments in the bottom of the bottle, decided to pour it along with the beer. Pours merky and copperish, almost honey in the glass. Airy, offwhite head. Mild, malty aroma. Caramel. Full, taste of alcohol and malts. Some citrus. Stings the tongue for a couple of seconds, then leaves a mild, bitter taste. Quite complex, yet rough. Not sure about this one. May cause a headache, sooner than most beers...

Bottle 0.5L. Clear copper body with a small, frothy, off-white head, mostly diminishing with virtually no lacing. Light malty (caramel) aroma with notes of alcohol and light spices. Light sweet flavour with some acidic note; light cereals in the finish. Light-to-medium body with watery texture; soft carbonation.

A dark yellow, somewhat cloudy beer with a firm white layer of foam which resembles a weizen. Not much of an aroma, but a nice bitter taste with a slightly sour aftertaste.

Geschmack malzig fruchtig, getreidig, leichte Bitterkeit.

A spicier, nuttier version of the Kellerbier with a lemony nose, it has a sort of home-brew roughness to it, yet is complex and very quaffable.

0,5 l bottle with that awful screw top. An unclear amber in the glass, huge head, high carbonated. Low malt and citrus on the nose. Tastes very thin, something of everything but nothing real and clear, because the high carbonation runs all down. Low malt, little bit caramell, citrus. Not good.

Weihnachtsbier naturtrüb
0,5l screw-top bottle, BB 1/11/14, 148
Golden and slightly cloudy in the glass, Grainy sweetish nose. The beer starts rough, sharp. Grainy. The mainpart is grainy, slightly sweet, unround. Bitter. On the tongue remains this sharp and unpleasant taste quite long. Grain, sharp bitterness, metallic touch.
