Bottle brown, 500 ml, 12.12 P
Appearance: Pours pale metalic water with honey, yellow with greyish shade, naturally well saturated body, body texture is opaque, not see - through, head is white, initially big, slowly decreasing to small but very firm, thick, compact, regular in structure, leaving nice lacing and giving the impression of being pillowy.
Aroma: Very natural, fresh and fruity top denoting carrots and carrot juice, apple juice, apple pill, very hybryd like in terms of the juxtaposition of refreshing citrusy, pils oriented oppyness with mellow, yeasty, banana - carrot - red apple like fruity accents. Quite original and surprisingly positive despite my initial scepticism. Inviting to drinking.
Flavour: German beer culture stood up to the accomplish the neck - breaking aim to create a complex beer out of the hybrid mixture of two apart styles. The taste presents all the best features of a Hafeweizen, so good yeastyness, mellow texture, wheat malt, cookie taste, carrot and flowery hoppyness being smartly contrasted with refreshing and uplifting citrusy - bitter kick of German Pilsener hops. The joining of the two styles was a nice concept by Engel Brewery which I appreciate. Finish duration is medium.
Palate: Body is medium, texture is quite thick and slightly dry, carbonation on palate is quite lively and satisfying with its impression of saltyness, finish feel quite long and bitter with flowery nose.

A cloudy yellow beer with low head. A quite dry weizen, body is low, some spicy hops, a common weizen in the average just more spicy.

Geruch hopfig-brotig und muffig-aromatisch. Merkwürdig. Säuerlich angehauchter Start. Ab der Mitte wird es noch einmal hefig, bevor Hopfenaromen hervorkommen, die im trockenen Ausklang aber nicht mehr präsent sind. Geht so. Test vom 10.4.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche

Dezent hefiger, leicht fruchtiger Geruch. Hefiger Antrunk, der sehr mild und teilweise verwässert wirkt. Im Grunde schmeckt das Bier durchgehend so, wobei sich auch ein herber Teil erkennbar zeigt, der aber meist im Hintergrund bleibt. Weißbier im "Gold"-Stil! It’s unclear, light golden with a huge, creamy head. The aroma has notes of wheat, butter and vegetables, mostly green asparagus. The flavor is sweet with notes of banana, light butter and vegetables, yeast and the finish is slightly spicy.

Bottle. Cloudy yellow colour and white head. Aroma and taste of sweet bananas, citrus and wheatmalts. Nice light sweet mouthfeel and a bit hoppy finish. Refreshing but not as good as the great bavarian weissbiers. A bit watery, but nice value for money: Its cheap!

Yellowy colour, white, foamy head. Nice aroma of bananas and malt. Lightweight, only slightly fruity taste with some hoppy bitterness in finish. Good

50cl bottle @ Otto, Flensburg. Slight hazy yellow with a small white head and lacings. Sweet nose. Wheat and citrus. Sweet and buttery.
