A deep red beer with a brown head. The aroma is of straw, brewing mash, caramel, and burnt malt - reminds me of a farm house beer. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of burnt caramel, straw and licorice, leading to a dry bitter end. It reminds me a bit of a Danish Hvidtøl due to the high sweetness and notes of licorice.

WOOD CASK. My wifes mother took me and my wife to the Engelberg Kloster close to where she lives i Franken Germany, course she knew they brew beer and made there own cheese and ham.
At the counter there was a wooden Cask with 1 of there 2 beers, this was there Dunkel, and it was good looking, almost black with a medium beige head. the aroma was a bit roasted, wood and corn in the good way, and the taste was good to, also roasted and with a bit of wood and corn, in a medium body with a light sweet finish.
I bought a bottle of this, wich I will try and rate when I come home to Copenhagen. 6-4-7-3-14.
