Bottle: Deep chestnut-amber coloured, medium-sized loose beige head, slowly collapsing; moderate sweet-caramelly nose with a good nutty touch and a very delicate tinge of roasted malt; moderate sweet flavour, medium bodied; slightly fruity (raisins) and sweet dark-malty finish. Not bad, but a quite simple Doppelbock...........

500ml bottle. Clear dark reddish amber colour with small macropore off-white head. Intense sweet caramel malty aroma, sugar-beet syrup, a touch of burnt caramel. Monotonous sweet caramel malt taste, hints of dark honey, hop notes mostly concentrated in the head. Smooth mouthfeel.

Dark coppery colored with little yellow head. Sweet and nutty, caramelly aroma, also thin roastiness comes up. Medium bodied. Flavor is sweet and nutty as well, caramel and thin alcohol come up too. Aftertaste lasts with thin nuts. Decent, but nothing special.
