Bottle: Deep chestnut-amber coloured, medium-sized loose beige head, slowly collapsing; moderate sweet-caramelly nose with a good nutty touch and a very delicate tinge of roasted malt; moderate sweet flavour, medium bodied; slightly fruity (raisins) and sweet dark-malty finish. Not bad, but a quite simple Doppelbock...........

500ml bottle. Clear dark reddish amber colour with small macropore off-white head. Intense sweet caramel malty aroma, sugar-beet syrup, a touch of burnt caramel. Monotonous sweet caramel malt taste, hints of dark honey, hop notes mostly concentrated in the head. Smooth mouthfeel.

Pours copper with a beige head. Aroma is roasted caramel, dried fruit and light breaddy notes. Flavour is roasted breaddy malt, dried fruit and alcohol.

Pours a clear and dark copper beer with an offwhite head. The aroma is malt and caramel. The flavor follows the nose with additional alcohol. The palate is sweetness with alcoholwarmth. Overall a beer below average.

Bottle. Frothy white good mostly lasting head. Brown colour. Heavy malty and light hoppy aroma. Light sweet and moderate bitter flavor. Week caramellic notes. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate. not a very good DB.

Bottle. Small head with short duration. Color is dark amber. Aroma and taste are fruits, caramel, malt and hops.

Dark amber with a small off-white head. Malty aroma with dried figs and prunes and a touch of sherry. Sweet malty flavour with notable alcohol. A bit cloying.

Dark coppery colored with little yellow head. Sweet and nutty, caramelly aroma, also thin roastiness comes up. Medium bodied. Flavor is sweet and nutty as well, caramel and thin alcohol come up too. Aftertaste lasts with thin nuts. Decent, but nothing special.

Bottle at Papsø. Clear orange coloured with a small white head. Sweet aroma of malts, caramel, dried fruits and butter. Sweet and fruity flavour fo caramel, dried fruits and alcohol. Sweet and warming alcoholic finish,

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with to amber with a small white head. Aroma is dark malty and caramelish flavoured. Bitter and dark malty. Bitter and dark malty. Lingering dark caramelish.
