0.5 l bottle, thanks Timo A! Hazy yellow brown color. Spicy aroma with clove, pepper and some banana. Dry spicy and grainy flavor with clove, pepper and restrained banana. Oily palate. Very grainy and spicy, not a bad leichte weisse.

Hazy medium orange yellow color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is light malty, wheat, moderate yeasty, paper, yeast. Flavor is light moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20110319]

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. An unclear, golden-orange beer with a finger-thick white head. Not much aroma here, some puke like notes in the far back and a touch of pale malts, banana and cloves too. The flavor isn’t much better, it’s not disgusting, but I definitely won’t drink it again. Not many breweries seem to master the art of a light weizen, Engelbräu Rettenberg doesn’t either. 110319
