06/06 0.5 l can courtesy of Marko, thanks for sharing! It pours golden body with small head. Weak, dry herbal and grainy aroma. Flavor is eggy or honey malt, typical for Austrian marzens, slightly salty and a bit metallic. Thinner in body, which serves shorter sweetish finish that didn’t accent bad things in this beer. Anyway, it’s boring and so typical low-end macro pale lager.

crossovert (2781) - Wisconsin, USA - JUN 26, 2011
It says "Brauerei Abfüllung" on the can. 500ml can, best before 08.01.2012. It pours a pee-yellow, one of the few beers that truly looks this way to me. The head is industrial-looking and white. It leaves the typical spotted lacing with a bit extra then usual. The smell isn’t terrible. It has a nice hop scent that brings to mind herbs, spices, and mango. It smells almost like and american pale ale. The flavor is a real downer. It has a muddled flavor with some almost dusty malts and a biting hop flavor that doesn’t mesh well. There is a bit of soap flavor. It isn’t the worst, but it isn’t very good. Overall this is far form a classic German pils, the hop bite is there, but it i kind of a mess.

Can from Austria, shared with heavy. Poured a golden body with a medium sized head that went away slowly. Typical Austrian sweetish honey-grain nose, somewhat soapy. Sweet honeyish malty taste balanced by light acidity. Watery but ok, ordinary Austrian lager, more drinkable than some.
