Dark amber, huge ivory head. Intense aromas of honey, molasses, sweet orange rind. Fizzy, fresh, silky and not so powerful, even though it’s almost 7%. Not much bitterness in the medium-lasting finish.

Bottle at Känguruh Pub. Well, at this point I was already quite drunken. So I cant remember how it smelled and tasted. But I remember that it pleased me ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

02-11-2015 - This is a nice Trappist beer, better than the Gregorius from the same abbey.

0,33l Flasche. Dunkelbraunes Bier mit relativ schnell schwindender Schaumkrone. Riecht nach getrockneten Früchten, schmeckt auch so, dazu kommen noch Caramel und Hefenuancen.

Pours a brown colour with an off-white head. Aroma is malt, toasty, fruit, caramel, spice and some hops. Taste is medium sweet. Perhaps "Trappist" by official designation but far from the lofty heights set by other Trappist beers.

22.5.2014. Carbonated trappist with some fruitiness and yeast but not too much taste. Still ok.
