This would have been a great beer, BUT: ... Poured out of the bottle smooth, gigantic, unappetizing chunks floating in beer. I understand sediment and yeast are acceptable and in some cases even sought after in Belgians, but these were larger than peas (one almost got stuck at the lip of the bottle). Fruity, smooth Belgian flavour. Yeasts, dark fruits, sugars on the palate. Awfully large chunks. (Exp date is a year away, no skunking or bad capping detected).

Bottle - 330ml. Beautiful cloudy, amber/orange body with a thick off-white foamy head. Well balanced malty/hoppy aroma with fruity, yeasty, and vineous hints. Its fresh hoppy taste carries malty, citrusy, herbal, and yeasty notes. Ends with a good bittersweet finish. Enjoyable.

33cl bottle. Slightly hazy brown colour with a nice off-white head. Cereal, bread, caramel and herbs in the aroma. Taste is a bit light more on the sweet side. Overall, a nice beer.

Hazy, medium amber body with a rather small, off-white head that reduces to a fully covering film. A good amount of the foam sticks to the glass. Strong aroma of Belgian yeast and generic fruitiness, and spices like anise seeds in the back. Quite strong flavour of Belgian yeast, fruits and spices, further behind I get pale malts, caramel, alcohol and in the long-lasting finish there are notes of bitter orange. The taste is light to moderate sweet and light bitter. Mid-bodied, dry texture, lively carbonation. A good one.

330m bottle. Pours a rich chestnut, ruby with quite substantial nut brown head. But it was a bit of a disappointment from then on. Aroma is farm yard and stale bread.taste....well it barely tasted of anything. Very weak caramel and something off. Can’t quite put my finger on it. Shame. I’ll try it again in the future.
