Aroma reminiscent of a weissbock. Spritzy like a good Saison. Taste has a honeyed sweetness, with a dry, spicy finish.

Rated on 7-11-2015 (Bottle brewed in 11/2012) This beer’s appearance is a small smooth ivory head with a short retention, cloudy amber body, lively, fast rising carbonation, and spotty lacing. The aroma of this beer is caramel malt, light hops and spices. The flavor is caramel malt, spices, hops, and it has a bitter finish. The mouthfeel is smooth with light carbonation. This beer is light bodied. A quaffable beer with a nice malt flavor and it is a beer that I would drink again.

Couleur ambrée trouble, légère mousse beige. Nez de levures et vieilles pommes. Gout malté, vieilles levures, vieilles pommes. Vraiment décevante pour ce type de bière.

Pours murky, "dirty" copper with about two fingers of off-white head. Aroma of nuts, funk, light dried fruit, light berries. Taste is sweet and slightly funky with a light tartiness followed by a nutty finish. Light, smooth body with average carbonation.

Bottle 33cl, a cloudy amber beer with huge off white head. Nose is on grain and yeast, light apple fruit touch. Aroma is on ripped apple, yeast, caramel, less complex, a boring trappist.

Rating #1216 -04.08.2014 Bottle from CBI. mildly hazy, golden yellow pour with a bubbly white head that dissipates slowly. Aroma is yeast, coriander, and cloves. Taste is mildly sweet, herbal. Full bodied, this packs an albeit well disguised punch. Finish is quite smooth. Delicious.

Bottle share thanks to Fergus. 6.9% BB Dec 2016. Hazy dark reddy brown, lightly sparkling, decent foamy off-white head. Aroma is toffee, earthy, lightly floral. Body is medium to light, tingly carbonation, slightly foamy. Taste is light sugary malts, biscuity, floral metallic finish. Overall, it’s not bad.
