Desverger (1288) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAR 29, 2014
Bottle from BarleyWine, Copenhagen - darkest brown pour with a small tan head. Aroma and taste of dark fruits (raisins, prunes) roasted malty, toffee, caramel, syrup, boozy finish. Nice.

thirstyrabbit (1000) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAR 27, 2014
Bottle. Dark brown body with a tall beige head. Aroma has raspberry cake with honey. Smooth malty taste with some jammy notes, mostly raspberry again. There is some fermented honey too but it’s not overplayed. Good balance. Fruity finish with sweet dark berries. No sign of the alcohol, so I would even say it’s refreshing. Very nice.

Alpha10 (269) - Ontario, CANADA - MAR 26, 2014
2024/03/26 - Pours a cloudy, brown-orange/amber colour with a small khaki head that dissipates quickly. Visible particulate. Aroma is dark fruits, honey, brown sugar, caramel and roast. Taste is medium sweet and mildly bitter with notes of dark fruit, caramel, toasted malts, spice and mild booze. Not bad, but I prefer other Trappist beers and probably won't revisit this one. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

PriorL (1279) - Gent, BELGIUM - MAR 23, 2014
33cl bottle at home. Best before: 26/9/2014. APPEARANCE: clear dark brown beer, small unstable beige head. ! UFO’s in the second half of the bottle, even when always standing up! NOSE: caramel, spiced, smoked, herbs, burned malts. TASTE: caramel, smoked, ham-like... Herbs, weird beer, not really my thing and not really my idea of a Trappist beer...

Bottle. The taste of honey was noticeable but not overwhelming. Has typical Trappist quad flavors of plum, raisin, clove and caramel but did not have a strong of an alcohol flavor and aroma as others. Very good and unique Trappist. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

fkoolen (143) - Maastricht, NETHERLANDS - MAR 22, 2014
Dark brown coloured, beige foamy head. Roasted malty nose and aroma, some coffee, chocolate and dried fruits. Little sour tone as well. Hint of (cacao-like) dryness in the aftertaste. Medium bodied, medium carbonated. Decent new trappist but adds nothing new to the existing range i.m.o.
