Butelka, warka do 18.06.16. Sredniej wysokosci piana ecru, syczaca i blyskawicznie znikajaca. Piwo Brunatno-miedziano-brazowe, niemal nieprzezroczyste, plywajace niestety w duzych ilosciach drozdze.

Reddish brown with flocculling yeasts, almost no head. Faint aroma of wood. Taste is quite dry and roasted, with notes of caramelized malts. Full body, smooth texture.

Bottle - 330ml. Cloudy brown body with a good beige/rusty foamy head. Good, well balanced malty/hoppy aroma with fruity, vineous, and oaky hints. Alcohol is subtle. Its well balanced malty/hoppy taste carries fruity, yeasty, abd oaky notes. Ends with a long, moderately warming, bittersweet finish. Good stuff.

Bottle shared at Leightons pad. Thanks to Daniel for this one. Light hazed reddy / copper coloured pour with a thin off white HEAD. Aroma is nutty, apple, caramel, raisin dried fruits, orange peel and sweet fig. Flavour is composed of tangy orange peel, caramel, raisin, dried fruits, pretty smooth. Palate is semi sweet, moderate carbonation, tangy in the finish. Full and warming alcohol. Pretty smooth and drinkable.

Bottle shared at Leighton’s, 9.7% bottled Feb 2014. Rating #666 for this beer. Reddy brown, lightly sparkling, small ring of tan head. Aroma is strong malt, red berry, a little strawberry, oxidation. Body is medium, slightly foamy, tingly carbonation. Taste is sweet and malt-forward, toffee, salty finish with no real bitterness. OK.

Bottle thanks to Daniel. It pours hazy red-brown with a medium white head. The nose is soft, sweet, candy, toasty brown sugar, stewed fruits and raisin. The taste is toasty earth, mild spice, brown bread, burnt toast, orange sponge cake, candy, cherry and some alcohol. Medium+ body and moderate carbonation. Decent stuff.

Bottle shared in London - big thanks to Daniel. Pours mostly clear amber with a foamy beige head. Rich malty aroma with hints of ripening fruits, berries, slight cheese and toffee. Medium sweet flavor with notes of candied apple, toasted caramel, grapes, berries. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation. Lightly warming to finish with hefty fruitcake, light tang, more berries. Some earthy bitterness. Not bad overall.
