Pours a deep dark reddish brown color. Aromas of dark fruit, caramel, and some spice. Flavors are dark cherries, plums, and some spice. Alcohol is really hidden in the deep flavors.

Aspecto: De color marrón oscuro, compacta, y turbia.

Pours clear and dark brown with a minimal brown head. The aroma contains roasted malts, caramel, bread, nuts (almond), wood, toffee and ripe fruits. It tastes medium to heavy sweet, medium bitter and light sour, with a long bitter and light warming alcoholic finish. Full body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Has similarities with Rochefort. Different, but still very much like a trappist.

Hmm, interesting, good. Kind of like the European Dark Bread of beers: rich and chewy, dark, molasses, bittersweet, fragrant. The bottle was a gusher, which isn’t the best. Still a very good and unique beer with quality character.

Bottle, 330ml. A dark reddish cloud beet with minimal brown head. Earthy aromas of spices, dried fruits, alcohol and some sour notes. Taste is bittersweet with a Belgian yeast alcoholic finish. Medium bodied with some carbonation. Bitter aftertaste with a strong quadrupel character.

Bottle, 33cl. Deep maple with a frothy to minimal brown head. Aromas of dried fruits, roasted caramel, alcohol. Robust bodied with moderate carbonation. Intensely sweet with moderate to heavy bitterness. Delicious malty and fruity character into a heavy alcohol and roasted finish. Very nice.

11.2 ounce bottle poured into a brandy snifter. The beer is a hazy brown with a big head of beige foam. The aroma has rich molasses, honey, prunes, plums, some mincemeat. I get a lot of complex sweetness with a touch of spice sneaking in there. Big bodied and medium sweetness. Soft, velvety mouthfeel. Really good beer.
