Tan to brown, hazy, moderate off-white head. Nice lacing. Aroma of fruit esters, marmelade, brandy, candy. Medium to full body. Oily. Relatively dry taste. Dry fruit, brandy, hops only for perfect balance. Quite good

[7903-20151031] 330mL bottle. Fruity cake and boozy dark fruit date malt aroma. Hazy, dark brown red body with a medium-lasting foamy light tan head. Dark fruit and boozy malt grain flavour has a long sweet heavy finish. Full body. Interesting. (8/3/7/4/16) 3.8

Nice dark brown colour with beige head. Malty nose. Tastes maltiness, ripe fruits. Once it warms up there are melon like flavours. Alcohol shows in the finish. A great beer.

19.12.2015-0,33L Flasche. Dunkelbrauer Körper, hellbrauner feinporiger Schaum, der länger anhält. Aroma: Rosine, Trockenpflaume. Weiter Rosine, Trockenpflaume, Honignoten, Portwein. Im Ausklang zeigt sich der Alkohol, aber nicht unangenehm. Gut !

Aroma - rich malt, dark fruit - figs and raisins, alcohol of a caramelized sugar variety. Appearance - body is a seal brown, head is about 1" and beige in color. The head is eventually settles into a film of foam. There are bits included, appears to be unfiltered. Taste - is packed with decadent dark sweet fruit - figs, raisins, and plums. Honey presence. There is a rich caramelized sugar taste. Additionally, there is a dose of booze. Palate - on the lighter side of medium bodied, sticky, average carbonation, medium length booze feel.

Bottle from Beltramo’s in Menlo Park, CA. Aroma is breads, mild fruity esters. Taste is fruity, chalky, bready with some nice carb. A pretty standard Belgian Quad without much nuance or style.

Bit different than Belgian quads, yet really well balanced and enjoyable. Huge maltiness, caramel, dried dark fruits, overripe fruits, plums, candy, bit bready, noticeable yeastiness, bit earthy. Moderate to intense sweetness, light bitterness. Cant fight eith top quads, but above mediocre Belgian quad.
