On tap at Tria in Philly. Very dark with a tan head and strong lacing. Flavor of dark fruits, especially in the finish, along with coffee and hints I smoked meat - like bacon. Very solid enjoyable beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Dark brown, beige head. Prunes, raisins, and dates on the nose. Tastes malty, with a strange bitter finish.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Hogerdijk, Culemborg. Dark brown with a beige head. Malty aroma with dark fruits but also a bit of rotten flowers to be honest. Remember when you were a kid and you tried to make perfume by putting a lot of flowers in plain water? the smell you got when opening the bottle after a few days is similar to the aroma of this Gregorius. The taste is decent enough but the whole experience is a bit spoiled by the rotted aroma. Maybe this bottle was spoiled, maybe I don’t know hoe to taste beer and maybe this just isn’t a very good beer. Will re-rate though.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy dark mahogany color with a decent tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, dark fruit, hint of caramel and alcohol and a bit of nut. Taste of roasted malt, dark fruit, bit of nut and trace of honey. Mild bitterness and adry finish. Moderate body, smooth with a rich feel. Very nicely balanced. Good beer to relax with.

Nice brown color with small tan head. Honey on the nose. Sweet at first, honey and herbs but gets bitterish. Interesting beer.

Dark brown with some reddish glare, one finger of quickly disappearing beige fine head. Sweet aroma of dark fruits, malts and some honey. Taste is less sweet than what expected from the nose, slightly burned caramel substitutes the honey introducing a light hoppiness.

Bottle, found at El Corte Ingles, Arguelles, Madrid. Berrylike aroma with a hint dark chocolate. Ruby brown, low head. Fairly fruity base flavour: Cherries, bananas, tomatoes?? Spicy belgian yeast, a hint wood, some pralines. Dry body, mellow mouthfeel, chewy body. In the desert end of the spectrum, quite pleasant though.

Doesn’t have the vibrant fruitiness or spice of something like a Rochefort. Drier, but still very taste. Quite a nice quad.
