Draft at Brass Tap Trinity for Tampa Bay Beer Week 2013. Medium brown pour with a tan head. Minimal loose sudsy lacing. Aroma is fairly sweet. Flavor is somewhat sweet but has some nice nutty roasted malt notes. Lingering aftertaste of molasses and dark caramel. The 8% is fairly well hidden.

10/15/12. On tap at the brewery. Very dark brown pour with a small khaki head. Surprisingly light aroma with touches of coffee, chocolate, and a bit of fruitiness. Lightly sweet entry, slight acidic tartness, with touches of chocolate and caramel. Surprisingly light and the ABV is well covered.
