COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This amber colored rye beer combines the citrus and floral character of a classic American IPA with the spicy earthy notes of a Rye ale. Hoppy but not too bitter and just enough spice to give you a little “how’s your father?”

Malty, fruity, a little funky aroma. Clear citrine. Chain mail, coating head. Lightly diacetyl, peppery. Nice hops. Medium body. Oily mouthfeel. Florida Tap Invitational, Proof. With LuckyDog, PorterPounder.

Moderate hopes. A little bit of rye flavor. Drinkable, but I’ve had better rye beers.

I don’t get a lot of nose on this one. Slight rye earthy smell but very subdued. Upon drinking you get a nice malty taste then layered with some hop bitterness and finishes with a great rye aftertaste that lingers on the tongue. The color is a nice deep amber. If you like rye added to a beer this is a good one to try.

Draft at Brass Tap Wesley Chapel. Pours a clear copper amber color with a medium sized white head. Malty aroma with hints of rye. Flavor is slightly sweet and malty up front with a fair amount of hop bitterness and rye in the finish.

Draft at the Brewery On tap at the brewery. The beer poured a light golden color, small head and lacing. There was citrus on the nose and bitter citrus to taste. This is nice IPA in a fun brewpub. It was the first beer tasted while watching college foootball. The medium body ale had average carbonation. There was a nice bitter feel in your upper mouth at the finish.

Nice dark gold to amber color with frothy white head. Aroma is light floral. Taste is a bit bitter but very smooth and delicious for a rye.
