Clear copper color, small steady white head. Buttery, diacetylic nose. Medium-bodied. Flavor has also butterscotch, then some citrusy hops and dusty notes. Fruity, caramelly aftertaste. Unfortunately unclean IPA.

On tap at TCBF, pours hazy golden. Aroma and flavour of dried fruits, hops and a malty backbone. Nothing special.

Nothing too spectacular about this beer. Beer pours an orange copper color with a slight haze. Most of the flavor comes from the hops, which are fairly sharp and one dimensional. Slight crystal sweetness. Overall a mediocre example of the style. Not terrible but not something I would think many would really enjoy.

UPDATED: APR 30, 2011 very below average ipa. nothing really to like about this one, the hops were just sour rather than bitter. re:rate 2011. much better this time around. much more complex and yet easy to drink.

Not sure if this is the right beer, but I will investigate further. This was a Dry Hopped version for the Brouwer’s WA Beer Fest. 12oz draft Brouwer’s. Golden and a touch of haze with sticky crystallized looking lacing. Nose is slightly dank and doughy. Sharp and clean flavor. Very sharp and smooth, very well made and I would drink multiples of these.

Aroma of floral hops, pine, and grapefruit with a faint biscuity/caramel malt thing too. Pours a light golden tone with a great lasting head and sticky lacing. Lots of hops. Citrus, pine, perfume. Lots of resins linger for a while. There was not really any malt except for a faint sweetness. Thin body, but lots of hops, and I like hops so I can’t complain. Long lingering bitterness on this one. I liked it.

Draft at the brewpub. Slightly hazy medium copper with a slim gray rim. Sweaty, almost neutral nose. Watery light body. Nasty acrid resin bitterness leaves a looooong lingering finish of vomit.
