Bright orangey-amber colour. Not much aroma - maybe some toast. Sweetish body, with a hint of earth and wood. Not much bitterness. If it had a nice balance or some style I’d be okay with the lightness (see Harmon Pale) but this has little to offer me.

Clear copper color, small steady white head. Buttery, diacetylic nose. Medium-bodied. Flavor has also butterscotch, then some citrusy hops and dusty notes. Fruity, caramelly aftertaste. Unfortunately unclean IPA.

on tap-pours a thin white head and hazy gold color. Aroma is mild citrus hops, faint malt. Taste is citrus hops-some bitter/pine, faint malt. Mild carbonation.

riversideAK (4566) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - JAN 20, 2009
Aroma of floral hops, pine, and grapefruit with a faint biscuity/caramel malt thing too. Pours a light golden tone with a great lasting head and sticky lacing. Lots of hops. Citrus, pine, perfume. Lots of resins linger for a while. There was not really any malt except for a faint sweetness. Thin body, but lots of hops, and I like hops so I can’t complain. Long lingering bitterness on this one. I liked it.

Draft at the brewpub. Slightly hazy medium copper with a slim gray rim. Sweaty, almost neutral nose. Watery light body. Nasty acrid resin bitterness leaves a looooong lingering finish of vomit.

dwyerpg (3577) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - JUL 31, 2007
Has a light hop aroma. Lots of bittering hops in the flavor and finish and that is the main detraction. Really needs some floral or citrus hops to complement it.

Full amber w. orangish tint and a head that rests nicely. Little hop aroma. Medium-bodied, with easy hop flavor of perhaps Cascades and rounded by Northern Brewer. An easy drinking I.P.A.

On tap at TCBF, pours hazy golden. Aroma and flavour of dried fruits, hops and a malty backbone. Nothing special.

Angeloregon (2054) - Portland, Oregon, USA - AUG 2, 2008
On tap at Engine House #9 in Tacoma, WA--Poured a murky chestnut amber body (slightly orange) with a thin wimpy whitish head. Big citrus pine nose with some caramel maltiness. Very dull and sharp with booziness. Lacking complexities. Thin body outside of hops. Eh.
