Cask at Toronado, San Francisco.
Transparently black, small creamy head. Aroma of tobacco and licorice. Sweet with rounded malt profile. Salmiac dominates flavourwise. Some roasty malt flavours, and a little bit of molasses. Low bitterness. English style hoppiness is paired with American style clean malt profile - I’d rather have the opposite.
