bitbucket (1536), Kirkland, Washington, USA Jul 15, 2008 On hand-pump at Toronado. Pours opaque blackish brown with a lacy off-white head. Light body, minimal carbonation. Lightly sweet aroma and taste of chocolate, fig, molasses. A little bit of sourness on the finish. Despite the claim of "complex roasted malt flavors" the taste is a bit vacant.

Brown/black colored brew. Smoky, roasted malts, chocolate. Nice aroma, but light taste.
alraicercsu (70), Ft.Collins, Colorado, USA Apr 27, 2008 Bottle/ Poured really dark brown almost black with a biege head. Very smoky but light in taste. Ramenen (333), San Salvador, El Salvador Apr 14, 2008 Drank it on cask at the Firkin Festival in Triple Rock Brewery, Berkeley CA. Poured a dark brown color, light bodied, very ashy and smoky. A very light porter. rayOfBeer (219), El Cerrito, California, USA Apr 13, 2008 Poured at the firken fest a dark brown to black with a small tan foam head. The nose is of burnt coffee, with the flavor coming in as a roasty grain with a touch of chocolate and coffee. The finish is mild almost watery with a light sour hop bitterness. The beer was ok, just a bit light for my tastes.
