COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A delicious India Pale Ale, complex, full flavoured with a very hoppy nose and the lasting bitterniss that one would expect from a classic English IPA. So when your throat is as dry as a dragon's firebox, slay your thirst with a pint or two.

12oz bottle -

The beer pours out a golden brown body, clear with a 1/2" scant head. Aroma is mostly herbal hops, and carries strong notes of herbal tea. Flavor shows up a lemony, citrusy hop flavor, dry with a woody, green leaf finish. Body is on the thin side. Not a bad beer, but very English and more of a pale ale than an IPA.

Tap at Ellas in Sacramento, CA. Pours copper with a foamy off-white head. Aromas of mild malt and citrusy hop. Med body; flat carb. Flavors of mild roast caramel with quite an amount of citrus/herb bitter. Mildly astringent. I like to think it reminded me a bit of England.

12 oz bottle a gift from Enniskillen! Nose is grassy hops with some caramel malt and a hint of background fruitiness. Clear orange amber with a small off white head. Flavor is lightly bitter with some fruity white grapes. Finish is slightly more bitter.

Draft at Trials Pub. Amber with a thin white head. Malty and slightly hoppy aroma. Flavor was bready, sweet with a nice bitter finish. Mid-bodied finish. Great with curry.

Pint served at the Brewpub. Clear golden amber with medium white head. Sublte hint of citrus in the nose, not too hoppy, good English Style IPA. Dry finish

Draught at the brewpub. Gold with a lasting white head. Spicy and herbal hops in the aroma, rather forcefully, with just a hint of malt. The flavor is quite hoppy in a very English way, with some light malt coming through before a dry, hoppy, and pretty bitter finish. The malt is light for an IPA, but this thing screamed hops. I was digging it. Just don’t expect a big American IPA malt balance to those hops.

12 oz bottle poured into a mug. Slightly hazed light amber with a small dense cap of light beige foam. Aroma is crystal malty with a sweet citric tinge. Flavor is very lemony with some resinous herbal character as well. Not much malt backing, which wouldn’t be an issue except it makes for a thin, weak body. Very highly carbonated. Decent bitterness with a little astringency, but overall this tastes like bitter hoppy seltzer.
