Pours a nice brown color. Nice head that laces the glass. The flavor is nice and malty, caramel, a hint of grain. Would prefer a little more body. Nice beer.

Draft at the Brewery The ale poured a dark brown with a decent white head with lacing. The aroma was of nutty roasted malts. The medium body ale has average carbonation. This is nice brown ale. The finish had lingering roasted malt.

Good nutty character. This beer pours a reddish cola color, quite clear, with little head. The nose is all specialty malt. Iím trying to come up with better descriptors, but this one is all nuts for me. Itís a good nuttiness but a little one-note ultimately. That said, I like nutty brown ales, so Iím really not disappointed. The flavor is a bit too sweet. Thereís some sugary malt that gets a bit in the way. Mouthfeel is probably better from a cask but itís still not bad from the bottle - slippery but clean. This is a nice session beer, and itís always good to see more nearby breweries dabbling in English styles.

On tap at the brewpub. Dark brown with small white head, nose of roasted malts. Serve a little too cold, but had good carbonation. Iím thinking this would be much better as it warms up.
