Draught at the brewpub. Light amber with a white head. Malty, cracker, and woody hop aroma. The flavor has bread and crackers, with a solid english hop balance. Medium-light body with soft carbonation. This had nice balance and better malt character than their other pale ales.

On tap at English Ales Brewery. This amber ale poured with a short off-white head. The flavor was very thin, even for a bitter, but had a nice hop finish.

Pale yellow color with a small off-white head. Very light honey and bread aroma. Extremely water feel, with a little honey, bread and citrus hops flavors.

Medium amber color with a small, frothy off-white head. The aroma and flavor were not at all very strong...some burnt bready tones were dominated by the seemingly inappropriate citrusy hops tones. Thin, crisp feel with a dry finish.

Wonderful reddish color. A nice creamy malty taste with a fizzy mouthfeel and a plesant aftertaste.
